A member of our team went to H Street Self Storage at 624 H Street, NE, and asked if they had received word about when, and if, Whole Foods plans to take over the property. According to one of their employees, the storage facility is scheduled to shut down in April. Check out more about Whole Foods' plans.
Last November we learned that Whole Foods will build a 38,000 square foot market on H Street between 6th and 7th. The construction is projected to be completed by the end of 2016. This is the 6th store that they've committed to in the city. The development will eventually include two levels of underground parking, 430 residential units and 75,000 square feet of retail space.
