We noticed that the demolition of the former Dunbar High School building is nearly complete.One of that school's distinguished alumni is San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis. Davis, who played in last year's Super Bowl, will be competing in the NFL's NFC Championship Game on Sunday For more on Dunbar, click below.

Their state of the art new building opened this school year. The campus now includes a new gymnasium, 8-lane swimming pool and flat screen televisions throughout the $122 million structure. After the old building is completely demolished, a new football field and track will be built over the grounds.
